Vista Springs is a beautiful, assisted living home in Painesville full of beautiful loving residents. PUMC visits there about once a month to bring songs and Bible stories to the residents. We meet in a theatre room with comfortable seats and start by singing hymns. The music and lyrics are presented on a large screen TV where all can read and follow along to sing. The residents really enjoy singing.  We make a joyful noise unto the Lord! After singing I present a message from the Bible. The messages vary each time, and I try to keep them uplifting and fun. We finish with a prayer time where everyone is given the opportunity to give praise to God or ask for prayers for loved ones, friends and healing. We pray together and feel God’s presence with us as we pray. This is such an important mission for our church, to bring God’s word and joy to those who often feel alone, lost or forgotten.
